We start 2024 with a wonderful New Year's reception in the beautiful garden of the residence.

With the support of the NTCC, the NVT and the Dutch Embassy invite all members and non-members (yet) to raise a glass with us to a beautiful and healthy 2024.
On Thursday, January 11 we ring in the new year with delicious food and drinks and live music.

Freshly baked oliebollen! Delicious Dutch snacks, a touch of nostalgia with an original Indian (small) rice table and an old Dutch dessert to die for!

The same entrance fee of THB 400 applies to everyone (food and drinks included)
Registration is mandatory and is possible until no later than Tuesday, January 9, 6:00 PM.

Another urgent appeal from our treasurer:

Although many people have already paid their entrance fees, there are also a number who have not yet done so. Help us and yourself and transfer the amount due as soon as possible in accordance with the instructions on the invoice. Registered, not paid yet Didn't receive an invoice? Please contact us via penningmeester@nvtbangkok.org.

We have also received a number of payments that we cannot identify. This concerns the following transactions:

There has been confusion and concern for some time about possible changes when transferring money from the Netherlands to Thailand. What consequences will this have for our stay here? Rob Hurenkamp, partner at the renowned accountants and business development agency Mazars knows everything, or at least a lot about it, and we are very happy that he is willing to tell us more about it. The embassy offers snacks and drinks for which we would like to thank you very much. Admission free but registration required!

Sea view: the belly of Bangkok

In the Sea view of January 9 we go back 15 years and see tomorrow's meal. We visit a meticulous model and walk through the mighty Chao Phraya river. We will have lunch in a well-hidden garden restaurant and visit 'the Halls of Bangkok', where most of the city's living, dried, packaged and fresh food is delivered, arranged, stored and sold.

Interested in experiencing this special Sea View? Please report no later than this before January 8 12:00 noon only via: zeezicht@nvtbangkok.org.

The meeting location and any latest information will then be sent to you by email.

Bye,
To Seaview
