The Vrijmarkt in the garden of the embassy is an annual tradition and a must for every (expat) family with children. There are various games such as sack races and cookie biting and delicacies from pancakes to typical Dutch snacks. This year the children are allowed to actively participate in preparing or decorating some products. Painting elephants (not live ones!), and much more! And of course you can bring a cloth to sell all your excess toys, books etc.

Royal Tennis Tournament April 27
On Sunday afternoon April 27 (our king's birthday) organizes the N/A  An Tennis tournament at the British Club Bangkok, Silom Soi 18
Present from 3pm
Start 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
8 games per set, doubles only
Costs: THB 250 pp including balls, court rental and light buffet
drinks at your own expense via reception receipts
 
maximum 18 players on a first-come, first-served basis.

Third Thursday Drinks at Hangover

Right after the Thai New Year, it is definitely a good time to meet some fellow countrymen while enjoying a drink and maybe a Dutch snack. This can be done in the "brown pub atmosphere" of The Hangover on Sukhumvit Soi 22 on Thursday April 17 from 7:00 PM.
