Seaview: Believe it or not

In Thailand, Buddhists are in the majority, but Thai culture is also open to other religions, which can usually coexist peacefully with the Buddhist.

On Tuesday June 6 Let's take a closer look at two. We start at the big Sikh temple Sri Guru Singh Sabha where we try to immerse ourselves in aspects of this religion that advocates, among other things, absolute equality between people.

The Sikhs played an important role for peace in Europe in both WWI and WWII.

We then visit a little-known shrine in which a horse is attributed auspicious properties, the Chao Por Ma and Guan Yu Shrine.

We return with both feet on the ground during our lunch in one of our favorite restaurants that we like to visit with Zeezicht.
